The Macquarie PEN Anthology of Australian Literature
The Macquarie PEN Anthology of Australian Literature is a major new anthology currently in preparation at the Centre for the Macquarie PEN Anthology of Australian Literature at Macquarie University.
It will survey 200 years of Australian literature in all genres, in a volume of approximately 1500 pages.

The Anthology will include biographical details about the authors of the works selected, an introductory essay, major essays setting the works in their historical context and suggestions for further reading. An online teaching guide will support educational use of the Anthology.
Most of the works which appear in the Macquarie PEN Anthology of Aboriginal Literature will also appear in the Macquarie PEN Anthology of Australian Literature.
The Macquarie PEN Anthology of Australian Literature is scheduled for publication in August 2009. Further information will be available closer to publication.
